With just five weeks being remaining in the NFL season, different odds boards are beginning to heat up toward the top. Specifically, though, the odds to win the NFC Championship.
The Philadelphia Eagles have been the favorites to win the NFC Championship for the better part of the season after opening at 1800.
They’ve seen their odds get shorter and shorter each week after starting the season undefeated through the first nine weeks.

However, after falling in Week 10 for the first time, the San Francisco 49ers entered the picture and began contesting their odds.
Finally, though, heading into Week 13 of the season, the Niners have jumped the Eagles for the shortest odds to win the NFC title. San Francisco sits at 250 while Philly is right on their tail at 260.
Feeding into the flip in the odds has been the somewhat struggling play from the Eagles and the red hot streak for San Francisco.
Following the Eagles first loss of the season in Week 10, they’ve won both games since, however, both of them were decided by a touchdown margin or less. This has been rare for them considering they’ve averaged a 10-point margin all season.
On the San Francisco side, their odds have already been on the come up after trading for Christian McCaffrey. Immediately following the trade, the 49ers NFC Championship odds shot up from 1000 down to 650 and have shortened each week since then.
The McCaffrey trade has already proven to be extremely beneficial for the Niners as they’ve won four of their last five games with him and have scored 21 points in every game with him as well.
Before the trade, the Niners were sitting at a 3-3 record and now sit at 7-4 and are in first place in their division and third in the conference.
If both teams continue to play at such a high level, they could both be in line for the bye week through the first round of the playoffs meaning they could next see each other in the NFC Championship game.
With that said, it would be wise to get in on them sooner rather than later to maximize the value on them before the playoffs begin.
Other honorable mentions to win the NFC Championship include the Dallas Cowboys, Minnesota Vikings, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. All of which are listed with odds to win under 1000 odds.
